VE (UK) are pleased to announce the release of the new Polini 9 Roller Maxi Speed Control Variator for Honda and Piaggio Maxi scooters. The new 9 roller configuration completely changes how the machines perform making riding more enjoyable as they promote for a flowing riding style due to the increased performance and power curve throughout the rev range. As an added benefit the 9 roller layout produces a better balanced variator with the rollers being more evenly spaced around the circumference of the pulley half.

Polini have also developed a new compound for roller production with less friction and more resistance to wear and high temperatures resulting in a longer life. The new variator hub is self lubricating through the graphite inserts which lowers maintenance and servicing costs.
